You can make a difference every weekend both as a befriender or a playmaker.
We strive to create a committed volunteer force that can contribute meaningfully to the growth and well-being of our kids and families.
Co-facilitate class with the main teacher
Taking care of high-needs students
Actively maintaining order in class to ensure a conducive learning environment for every student
Assist in getting students to cooperate with the primary teacher
Preparing classroom materials
Packing and cleaning of the centre
Our playmakers assist our primary teachers in ensuring the classroom is a safe and conducive learning environment for all kids.
As role models, our playmakers are a beacon of inspiration and positivity to the kids.
Participate in family visits
Provide short reports on families, highlighting the needs to staff
Pitch and promote our programmes
Every weekend, our outreach team does regular family visits to the community. Each befriender will be attached to our outreach personnel.
The goal is to touch base with the families, introduce our programme and register new beneficiaries.
